On Saturday, Huba HollókÅ‘i got 1st prize on the 2° CONCORSO CITTA’ DI BRESCIA GIANCARLO FACCHINETTI PER DIRETTORI D’ORCHESTRA. The prize includes concerts in Italy, Poland, Czech Republic and Romania.

Following the strict regulations, we have been working on L'elisir d'amore by Donizetti. The production is ready, however, due to the circumstances, the permier will take place on the 11th of June.

Due to the ongoing Corona pandemic, a number of concerts were cancelled - and may still be. However, chambermusic with Tiaga-Quartet is allowed, and Joensuu City Orchestra will restart working on the 21st of August with Beethoven's magnificient 7th Symphony.
